Vintage 1970s Opal & Garnet 9ct Yellow Gold Five-Stone Ring

A charming vintage opal and garnet ring dating to the 1970s, crafted in 9ct yellow gold and featuring a beautifully arranged combination of glowing natural opals and rich red garnets.

At the centre sits a round cabochon opal, displaying attractive flashes of pink, orange and green as it catches the light. Two smaller opals sit at either end of the setting, creating a balanced graduated design.

Four round-cut natural garnets are nestled between the opals, their deep reddish tones providing a striking contrast against the opals' soft play of colour. The gemstones are held within an ornate claw-set arrangement, complemented by decorative openwork shoulders characteristic of the period.

The elongated setting spans approximately 20mm across the finger, giving the ring an impressive presence while remaining comfortable and very wearable.
