Edwardian 18ct Gold & Platinum Sapphire & Diamond Daisy Cluster Ring

A charming antique sapphire and diamond cluster ring dating to the early 20th century, beautifully designed in the classic floral style associated with the Edwardian period.

At its centre is a round-cut natural blue sapphire measuring approximately 4.5mm in diameter. The sapphire displays an attractive rich blue colour and is surrounded by eight single-cut diamonds. The diamonds form a delicate scalloped halo, giving the ring its distinctive daisy-like appearance.

The cluster is platinum topped, a characteristic feature of fine jewellery from this period. The white platinum setting enhances the brightness of the diamonds and provides an elegant contrast against the warm 18ct yellow gold shank. Fine millegrain detailing around the sapphire and diamond-set petals adds further texture and delicacy to the design.

The ring is marked 18CT and PLAT, confirming its traditional combination of 18ct yellow gold and platinum. With its beautifully proportioned 9mm cluster and low, wearable profile, this is a particularly pretty example of an Edwardian sapphire and diamond ring.
