Art Deco Sapphire & Diamond 9ct Rose Gold Platinum-Topped Toi et Moi Ring

A wonderfully distinctive Art Deco-era sapphire and diamond Toi et Moi ring, dating to approximately the 1930s–1940s and crafted in warm 9ct rose gold with a contrasting platinum-topped setting.

The asymmetric design pairs two natural gemstones: a deep blue square step-cut sapphire alongside a sparkling old mine cut diamond. Each stone is held within its own geometric platinum-topped setting, enhanced with fine milgrain detailing that emphasises the strong architectural lines characteristic of the period.

The sapphire displays a rich, deep blue colour, providing a striking contrast to the bright old-cut diamond beside it. Sweeping rose gold shoulders curve gracefully around the two gemstones, creating an elegant sense of movement and softening the angular geometry of the setting.

The Toi et Moi design — meaning “you and me” — traditionally symbolises the union of two people, making this a particularly meaningful and unusual choice for an engagement or anniversary ring.
