Description
With an origin likely from France and dates back to the Victorian period, this delicate and elegant antique stick pin features milky white natural Seed Pearls arranged in a fleur-de-lis shape.
The fleur-de-lis is based on the shape of a lily. In French, fleur-de-lis means “lily flower” or “flower of the iris”, it has been used for centuries to represent a vast variety of things such as royalty, culture, purity, light, life, and virtue.
Marked 14K on reverse and has been tested. There is another marking but indistinguishable. Stick pin can be used to secure a tie or scarf, or as a lapel ornament either singly or in groups.
She is in excellent condition, lovely patina throughout, with display box and pin stopper.
