The band has a gently rounded profile with a smooth polished finish and a particularly lovely warm, slightly rosy tint to the gold, giving the piece a wonderful antique character. Measuring approximately 4.5mm wide, it has a substantial presence on the finger while retaining a classic and understated appearance.
The ring bears clear and deeply struck Birmingham hallmarks, including the date letter w for 1921, which remain remarkably well defined more than a century later.
