Vintage 1980s Bloodstone 9ct Yellow Gold Signet Ring

This hefty and substantial gold signet ring features an oval shape natural Bloodstone tablet in secure bezel set. Crafted in solid and thick 9ct Yellow Gold, the stone is set flush and close to the finger, making it a great choice for everyday wear.

This Bloodstone has a beautiful dark green body-colour with red patches that resemble spots of blood (hence the name Bloodstone). It measures 12mm x 10mm. Bloodstone is a popular gemstone in jewellery in Victorian era, it symbolises courage and vitality.

Hallmarked by Birmingham Assay Office as 9ct gold, with sponsor mark W.T.T & Co and date letter m for 1986.This ring is comfortable to wear, it has been restored to the best possible condition, minor scratches and wear to the bloodstone commensurate with age.
