描述
A beautifully detailed late Victorian buckle ring crafted in sterling silver and decorated with crisp foliate engraving. The buckle motif was a popular symbol during the 19th century, representing loyalty, protection and an unbroken bond, making this piece especially meaningful as a gift or an everyday sentimental ring.
The continuous repeating pattern around the band gives the ring a lovely sense of movement, while the raised buckle detail adds texture and depth. Fully hallmarked for Birmingham with the maker’s mark J.H and the date letter q for 1890, it remains in excellent antique condition with a pleasing antique patina.
A timeless Victorian piece with symbolic charm, ideal for daily wear or as a thoughtful antique gift.
Please note: display box is not included in the sale.
