Description
Commonly known as the “gentleman’s ring”, the signet ring is traditionally seen as a symbol of family heritage. Now, signet rings are worn by men and women who wish to exhibit style, or a sentimental connection with something or someone.
This delightful women’s signet ring dates back to 1926, the Art Deco period, an influential movement in style that originated in the 1920s. It features a hexagonal plaque to centre, mouldered onto sleek geometrical tapered shoulders. Crafted in 9CT Yellow Gold, its combination of straight and smooth lines accentuate the beauty and personality of Art Deco design. This lovely ring’s low profile and flush design are versatile enough to blend in our everyday lives.
The plaque is blank and ready to be engraved if you wish. It has full British hallmarks, marked HG&S, 9, 375, Birmingham, and date letter B for 1926. It is finger size L1/2, and can be sized. In excellent vintage condition, some minor wear commensurate with age.
